UNCOMMON is the faith development hub for NTCA students. This program offers additional support for families, faculty, and staff. We exist to enrich the spiritual and intellectual life of the campus by providing a variety of ministries appropriate to a spiritual, cultural, and socially diverse student and professional body. UNCOMMON collaborates with other faith development leaders of the North Tampa Christian Academy community. We wish to ignite the passion of those who have been transformed by or are considering a relationship with Jesus Christ from the unique perspective of the Christian faith.

In order to run UNCOMMON we have crafted three different approaches that frames our campus ministries vision and mission:

UNCOMMON Celebration

Each Wednesday our students gather at our renovated Cafe Lounge to explore the values that frame our Christian education. Twice a year UNCOMMON hosts a full-blown Week of Spiritual Emphasis as the perfect way to start a new semester and actively seek the will of God in our lives. We sing and pray together. We celebrate the fact that God loves us with an UNCOMMON love.

UNCOMMON Discipleship

Stop by our Campus Ministries Lounge (Located in building 5) and visit with Pr. Cesar Grassiotto, Campus Ministries Director, and Joe Frescino, NTCA Chaplain and Bible Teacher. Come for a chat or bring your questions regarding your faith journey. We would love to walk that journey with you! We are also connected with trained peer Bible counselors who provide Bible studies and counseling to our students. We want to learn how to be UNCOMMON followers of Jesus.

UNCOMMON SERVICE

Whether serving food at a local food bank or partnering with World Vision on a mission to provide shelter and education to kids in impoverished areas of the world, we have many options to serve others. Our team is always open to explore other opportunities because at NTCA we want to serve with an UNCOMMON drive.
